Nope, we're not free from the snow and ice yet. So why am I so excited?

New episodes of tv tonight! So tired of holiday specials, sports events, and reruns. It's a good ending for an otherwise non-eventful (boring) day.

I felt really bad because there were a ton of birds out searching for food. I wished I had bought some bird feed but don't normally do that because of the cats.
Doesn't she look like she'd love a little bird-stew?

So being the compassionate animal/fowl lover that I am, and on the advise of a facebook friend, I crushed some crackers and threw them out on the snow. And sat and watched.

I did not see one bird accept my offering. Fine! Starve to death! Just don't let me come outside and find 1000 dead birds in my backyard. I don't want to make the 6 o'clock news.
